MISSOURI CHAPTER OF NENA

What is MOTERT?

During a disaster, call volume and an inability of PSAP personnel to report to work due to a disaster can overwhelm a PSAP. TERT is a disaster response group of telecommunicators and other PSAP support personnel that are available to assist Missouri jurisdictions or other states during a declared disaster.  TERT will locate Telecommunicators that are trained on your equipment and protocols and deploy them to your site to augment your staff until the situation stabilizes.
