MISSOURI CHAPTER OF NENA

We are the Voice of 911 in Missouri!

MONENA is the Missouri Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), whose slogan is, "One Nation - One Number." MONENA has been in existence since 1986, and is comprised of individuals who deliver 911 services throughout the state of Missouri. MONENA has nearly 400 members, who come from approximately 80 Missouri counties, municipalities, and organizations that are involved in providing 911 services.

Browse around our web site for a while, and see what MONENA is, and has been doing for the citizens of Missouri. For more details, or if you are interested in joining MONENA, contact Jamie Taylor

2025 LEGISLATIVE DAY
Picture
The Missouri Chapters of APCO, NENA and the Missouri 911 Director's Association are proud to host Emergency Communications Goes to Jefferson City 2025.

During this event, attendees will have the chance to make a positive impact on the emergency communications profession though firsthand advocacy on topics such as reclassification, first-responder mental health and NG911 funding.

In addition to that, the event takes place during the heart of NPSTW. What better way to celebrate NPSTW than through advocacy, attending a resolution reading recognizing NPSTW in the House and Senate chambers and having a chance at meeting the Governor!?

The Associations would love to see representation from all levels of service -  frontline, supervisory, and executive - during this event. This is the perfect time to show those who represent our family, friends and neighbors,  the true faces of the heroes under the headset.

If you're interested and think you will attend, we ask that you RSVP. This will help us have direct contact with you with instructions and details as well as get a headcount to know how many to expect.

Event Details:
April 18, 2025 | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Missouri State Capitol Building, 3rd Floor under the Rotunda

The Missouri State Fair was August 7-17, 2025 in Sedalia. Volunteers were able to make connect with thousands of people to help educate on 911. For several  years, Public Safety Communications Professionals from around the state have volunteered their time to work the 911 educational booth.  Contact Saralyn Hayes at [email protected] if you are interested in being involved.
