TELECOMMUNICATOR OF THE YEAR HONORED BY STATE 9-1-1 ORGANIZATION

Shown in the picture from left to right are: Michael Kindle and Terry Hedden

Terry Hedden from Springfield Missouri was honored as Missouri’s Telecommunicator of the Year by the Missouri Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association. (MONENA)

Terry was honored at the organization’s annual conference and trade show held at Tan-Tara at Lake of the Ozarks, during the banquet and awards ceremony.

Terry was nominated by J.R. Webb, Assistant Director of Communications at Springfield-Greene County 9-1-1 for his outstanding service. Terry spends countless hours training new employees, helping reduce the reality shock that some new hires might experience when joining a 9-1-1 team.  He was commended for always having a positive attitude and making the Springfield-Greene County 9-1-1 Center a better place to work.

Presenting the award was Michael Kindle, President of MONENA. This year’s sponsor for the Telecommunicator award was Priority Dispatch, a training company for 9-1-1 dispatchers.
